What is print-ready artwork?
Print-ready artwork is the final file or files used by printers to produce your leaflets. The file(s) tick all the necessary requirements to produce high quality printed items.
What are the requirements of print-ready artwork?
There are many different checks to ensure a piece of artwork is print ready. See below some key points:

A print-ready artwork file should always be in a PDF format.

All images should be saved as CMYK not RGB. |
|
|
All images and text should be embedded on the PDF file. |
|
|
All pages require a 3mm bleed on each side to allow for trimming.
|
|
|
All artwork must be set to a minimum of 300 DPI (dots per inch) to ensure the highest quality print |

It is important to remember that these are only 5 examples of many aspects required for print-ready artwork. It is recommended that you work with a designer or design agency to check and develop your design to ensure it meets all the requirements of print-ready artwork.
