Whistl Doordrop Media were celebrating a double win at this year’s COGS awards in the Direct Marketing and Innovation categories.
The Direct Marketing Gold award win was for a highly targeted doordrop media campaign on behalf of P&O Cruises. The campaign reached 500,000 targeted homes within January 2018 to generate new cruise bookings and to increase localised bookings in specific geographical areas of Southampton.
In addition, the campaign’s aim was to recruit new cruise customers in 2018, to create a new base of customers willing to book a new ship that will launch in 2020.
Neil Hoopery Judges’ Chair’s commented: “An innovative new execution and approach to the challenge, with particularly tight timeframes. Excellent work.”
The second win of the awards for Whistl DDM was the prestigious Institute of Promotional Marketing Silver award for Innovation in the sector for Whistl Doordrop Media’s ground breaking leafletdrop service which has opened up the leaflet distribution market to SMEs, whether large or small, and has processed 3 million leaflets since its launch.
Leafletdrop is a complete leaflet distribution service from desktop to letterbox offering users access to over 27 million households in the UK through a very simple self-service online tool.
For many local advertisers’ territories and geographical areas are often fixed so Leafletdrop allows them to service their clients effectively or create cost efficiencies in travel times.
Leafletdrop allows users to create a strong localised campaign without the complexities of managing multiple suppliers for elements such as print, segmentation, targeting and ultimately distribution as many companies are too small for a dedicated marketing department.
